INDIA /HIMACHAL PRADESH /DHARAMSALA / On 17th Octomber 2007,Tibetans in Dharamsala celebrated the conferment of the Congressional Gold medal Award, the highest United States Civilian Honor, to his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Around 10.000 Tibetans and supporters flocked to Tipa to see the live telecast of the Gold Award Ceremony than was shown on a big screen.Also many beautiful cultural dances were performed by groups.The highlight of the event was the appearence of the children, they were very well-dressed and while attending the events with lot of interest they looked like tibetan dolls.
